松本へ行こう！その２。

マエストロ指田。

この間、アメリカ人の友達に、

一昔前に聞いたことのある、

ソース顔と醤油顔のことを聞かれた。

英語で説明するのはとても難しい。

しかも、人種をこえて存在するのだろうか。

マエストロ指田は間違いなく

西洋の香りを漂わせている。

今でも、アランドロン、ダックスフンド、

厚切りの蜂蜜トースト、

手作りベーコンと言うと、この人を思い浮かべる。

でもやっぱり東京の香りはぬけない。

生活でしょうか、姿勢でしょうか。

江戸の精神なのでしょうか。

「江戸はここにある」を求めて。

最近、ikí-edokko swag プロジェクトの勉強に当たって、

やたら、江戸や職人について本を読んでいる。

欧米の人に「粋」は何って聞かれても、

なかなか自分でもなんとなくしか

理解できたないものを英語でうまく伝えるのに一苦労。

これについてはまた詳しく書くが、

自分の解釈では一部として、

肩に力が入っていない、楽な鋭い感覚、感性。

豊福師匠含めて、マエストロ指田とフォルムの達人小山氏に

粋なあり方を伺える。
