colori?

 

八十年代にイタリアのでデマルキに作っていただいた、

うちのジャージー。

ショップカラーのグレーとオレンジ。

これは大事にしまってあった自分のとっておきの一枚。

色々な意味で恐ろしくて着てみる事ができない。

そのうちに体を絞って着てみよう。

あらーふぉっ。

in case anyone was wondering about our shop colours,

its orange and grey.

this jersey was made for us by de marchi back in the day.

as you might notice,

i treasured this jersey and kept it with utmost care.

there is nothing quite like italian knits.

looking forward to sauntering along in this in my seventies.

a salute to italian design, italian wear and the most impressive flair.

evenings at UC theatre watching him on the big screen.

being lost in the hill climb and the constant hum of competitive cycling.

fierce and tender.

being surrounded in that sound and to see

the footage of that paysage,

there was nothing quite like watching merckx.

this book is my favorite book about merckx so far.

i have to admit that there is much to savour in each photo that

i havent quite gotten to the text.

its like a last bite that wont go away.

小さい頃、バークレーにUC theatre、という映画館があった。

毎日ちがう映画が二本上映され、

色々な良い映画をそこで観て、

今でも、深く印象にのこっている。

メルクスもこの映画館で、

大きい画面でみたのが初めて。

その時代の風景、映像も全面に写され、

この人の巨大なスケールを感じた。

彼みたいな選手はおそらくいないと思う。

この一冊は今まで彼について書かれた本の中で、

いちばん気に入った。

写真は初めてみるのも、沢山。

楽しめるところ多々で、

少しずつ味わっていただきたい。

考える人。

　どのように構える。

自分の貴重な時間。

この空間は限りなく自由に感じる時と、

重く、追いつめられるような時と、

色々ある。

この中で、こんな発想も。

城井氏から溢れでたものの一つ。

ゆるみ具合が絶妙。

that the ideal position to get things going was to assume

the position of “the thinker”.

not sure if this is true but i am happy to

report that there is wonderful activity

in that special room.

初秋。

fall is here.

i think.

one never knows these days.

we seem to like to travel between summer and winter

most expediently and not much lingering in between.

since this is my favourite season-

here is something new at jitensha studio to

help welcome the season.

最近は夏と冬の間の行き来になりがちだが、

個人的に大好きな秋。

食欲の秋でもある。
